President Donald Trump is speaking at a campaign event in Durant, Oklahoma, today.
At the midterm election rally, the president will discuss his administration’s progress on immigration, technology, trade, domestic production, and the economy, as well as goals for the remaining two years of his second term.
The Senate Foreign Relations Committee, chaired by Senator Jim Risch of Idaho, is receiving a closed briefing on Venezuela today. The Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, chaired by Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, is holding confirmation hearings for nominees to the Treasury Department, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the Export-Import Bank of the United States.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For God’s protection over President Trump as he travels to speak at the midterm election rally.
- That President Trump would be led by the Lord in his decisions regarding foreign and domestic policies.
- For the chairs and members of congressional committees to be prudent as they conduct confirmation hearings for the president’s nominees.
